We make 3 different styles of leather corsets. The leather we use is about twice as thick as the leather you see in most clothing so it doesn't stretch as much (if at all) as a lot of other store-bought items. We use spring-steel boning in the front and back, and spiral boning on the sides. Custom-made options are the leather used to make your corset, the front closure and the neckline. For example, you can choose to have your corset close in the front with eyelets, a busk or a heavy-duty zipper. You can choose to have a sweetheart neckline on your Shortie corset, or a low-cut neckline on your Romantic corset.

Our best-selling Retro corset has a modest neckline and measures approximately 16” from the middle bottom edge to the middle top edge on both the front and the back. This is the corset we teach at sewing workshops. The front bodice is cut straight and the back boning is designed to flair. Because the front and back are long, it gives extra back support and can cinch in your hips if you wish. This corset looks good on everyone, but especially on women who have implants or are heavy-breasted.

The 6-panel Shortie corset is just that – short. You can wear it as an underbust or pull it up to fit like a demi-bra. The front measures approximately 11” from the middle bottom to the middle top edge and the back is approximately 12” high. This corset looks great over a blouse and worn with pants or a skirt.

The 5-panel Romantic corset has classic lines, a sweetheart neckline and covers your belly. The front measures approximately 13” from the middle bottom edge to the middle top edge. The back is approximately 9” high. It looks equally good on the full-figured or heavy-breasted woman as it does on the average gal.

Our corsets are unlined. We make all our corsets this way because people don't usually sweat in leather – in essence it acts as a second skin. When you put it on, it might feel cool at first, but it warms up to body temperature pretty quickly. If your corset had a lining, it would act as insulation and you would heat up and probably sweat. A sweaty corset needs to be washed – a non-sweaty one doesn't.

When you're not wearing it, keep your corset stored flat or rolled up like a tube. Make sure it stays on top of heavy items unless you want permanent creases.

You should buy a corset that is a bit too small for you. This will let you cinch yourself in and allows for any relaxing of the leather. We do our best to make sure any stretch in the hide translates to up and down on your corset – not side to side. Since leather is a skin (and skin stretches or else you'd split when you grew or gained weight), you can expect a bit of stretching but it should be minimal.

Your corset has been designed to tie at the waist using the one long continuous lace. The lacing criss-crosses on the top and on the underside, which allows the corset to completely close (wherein if you lace it up like a shoe, it wouldn't close completely). You can adjust the bust and hip fit independently, even 'though you're using only one lace when it's done this way.

Corset-wearing tips: Always loosen the laces when you put it on – even if the front closure of your corset is a busk or zipper. This avoids putting unnecessary strain on the garment (strain = stretching). If you're buying a corset with laces in the front and the back, you might find it easier to step into it, rather than trying to pull it over your head – try it both ways to find out what works for you. After you have put the corset on, tighten the laces a bit, then bend over at the waist, reach inside and pull up your breasts. You can also rearrange some of your extra body fat if you have any, pulling it up and around to where it suits you. Pull your back skin to the front if you like to avoid too much back cleavage. Tighten the corset to where it is comfortable. Remember, you still have to be able to move and breathe, so if someone helped you get into it, you might have to loosen it a bit. After you've worn your corset for a while, you will probably want to tighten it again, but remember to leave it loose enough to move and breathe.

Guarantee: We guarantee our products to be free from manufacturers defects and wouldn't sell something we wouldn't wear ourselves. If there's something wrong with it, let us know and we'll fix it. Corsets are lingerie, and are NOT returnable.
